Tips To Help You Keep Your Home Clean With Your Current Budget And Resources

Posted on: 18 August 2017

When you work a full-time job, have a family and other outside activities, it can be difficult to find time to get in time for cleaning your home on a regular basis. As you and your family live in and use your home it is constantly becoming cluttered and dirty. Here are some tips to help you keep your home clean using the resources and time you have available to you.

Hire a Professional Service

When you work a full-time job, the thought of coming home each night and having to put in manual labor to clean your home may be quite unappealing. If you work a professional job, you may receive an hourly or salary wage that exceeds that of what a cleaning service would be paid. In this situation it can be beneficial and make sense to you to hire a cleaning service to clean your home for you. This frees up your spare time to put your knowledge and work expertise to generating more income that would easily cover the cost of paying for a cleaning service.

As a simple example, if you work as a consultant and make approximately $40 per hour, you can earn $80 for two hours for work. Then, you can choose to hire a cleaning service that will clean your home at $25 per hour, you will end up with a clean home after two hours and still have an addition $30 afterwards.

Use a Daily and Monthly Cleaning Schedule

If you decide to handle your own home cleaning, instead of saving all your cleaning to the weekend when you may have activities and fun scheduled, you can complete some of the cleaning each day. There are many examples of cleaning schedules you can find online and on Pinterest, which outline specific cleaning tasks each day, week, and month, which you can do in the evening when you are home from work.

For example, every Monday you would sweep and mop your kitchen floor, then on Tuesday you would clean out the bathtub and shower. As you complete one small task each day, the majority of your house cleaning is completed by the time the weekend arrives when you finish up the non-completed tasks.

Also, as you walk through the house on your way to bed at the end of each night, pick up any items out of place and put them in their proper spot. Take five to ten minutes each night to tidy up a bit in your home.

Use these two tips to help you keep your home clean depending on your schedule, specific situation, and budget available.
